 Cork City Hospitals Children's Club

How it all Began!

Back in 1994 a group of hospital workers in the Cork University Hospital got together to give children a meaningful and deserving break away.

1994
The first trip abroad was to Lapland. 20 sick children travelled with carers. All money raised at that time was from hospital workers.

1996
Since 1996 we have been taking kids to Disneyland Paris. This is our main excursion each year. Initially it began with 25 kids and 15 adults and now the group is at 82
people each year. The sick and deserving families enjoy 3 magical days.
