How it all Began!

Back in 1994 a group of hospital workers in the Regional Cork got together to give children a meaningful and deserving break away.

1994

The first choice was Lapland they fundraiser the money mostly from staff within the hospital and took the first group. Hospital beds and all. Took 20children to Lapland. In theory was a great idea but sick children and cold conditions don’t really mix.

Since 1996’s we have been taking kids to Disneyland Paris this is our main excursion each year. It started with 25 kids and 15 adults and now the group is at 82 people each year. Two coaches full for 3 wonderful days.
